2013 Fantasy Football Preseason Rankings

The wait is almost over – football season is almost here. Fantasy football fans the world over couldn’t be happier. In true TopTeamFantasy fashion, we’ve shown up early to help you grind your way to a league championship. If you haven’t already, check out our fantasy team previews, and keep reading for our initial 2013 positional rankings.

Three TTF staffers – Jonathan Vandersluis (@TopTeamFantasy), J.D. Redemann (@JR_TopTeam) and Russell Shaffer (@RussellShaffer) – have ranked the top 25 QB, 60 RB, 60 WR, 25 TE, 25 K and 25 D/ST based on standard scoring, non-PPR formats. You’ll see some consensus, but you’ll also see some personal preference for bust and breakout candidates. To help make things easier, we’ve averaged the three sets of ranks and ordered players by their composite score. The composite rankings should provide you a good cheat sheet come draft day, while big swings on a particular player by one ranker as compared to the others (+/- 3 or 4 slots) could indicate players to target a little early or avoid altogether.

It’s still early, so we’ll update these rankings periodically throughout the preseason as breaking news occurs. And this trio of rankers will be with you week-by-week throughout the season to adjust these rankings based on performance, injuries, matchups and bye weeks.

So with all the customary pleasantries and logistics out of the way, let’s get down to the good stuff.

Quarterback Rankings

Presented below are TopTeamFantasy’s staff QB rankings as ranked by Jonathan Vandersluis (@TopTeamFantasy), J.D. Redemann (@JR_TopTeam) and Russell Shaffer (@RussellShaffer) as of August 31st, 2013.
